Our anchorage at Little Ragged Cut has suddenly gotten very busy with 14 yachts, and the idyllic serenity has disappeared. So on 31 January we (Sojourn and us) decided to up anchor and move.
Going thru the channel which we can only do over High Tide or the hour on either side
Initially we went to Hog Cay, but no sooner than we arrived, we found that ALL the boats (bar 3) also left Little Ragged and came to Hog Cay. By the end of the day there was 24 boats at Hog Cay. We elected to not go ashore with that many unknown people and first thing next day we left Hog Cay and sailed with the Genoa only up to Buenavista Cay, some 10 miles away.
The day was overcast and the breeze a little chilly.
It was a Very windy day and the sea was full of whitecaps
Duane, Karen and I
From the same ridge, Duane pointed our some Ruins, which none of us had ever been to, and did not know exactly what the Ruins were, so we set off Bush Whacking to get to the Ruins, mainly following Goat paths
As we got closer we found a Pan with water and the Ruins towards the southern end. The Pan looked deeper at the Ruins, so we walked around the north end of the Pan
Following Goat paths
Our finding was confusing. Waist high walls on all 4 sides.
Back to our anchorage
