Bahamas - Exumas, GeorgeTown, Goodbye Penny and Mike

We were back in Georgetown for Penny and Mike to fly to New York en-route to Cape Town , South Africa. A last walk around, getting Covid Antigen Test, and a night out at Peace and Plenty

Bahamas - Long Island, Calabash Bay, Happy Birthday Jenny

Our last stop in Long Island, we sailed north to Calabash Bay and anchored abeam the Santa Maria Resort.

We went ashore for Sundowers to celebrate Jenny’s birthday at the Resort Bar

Karen and Duane came round to Meshugga for dinner, and a Final Farewell. Sojourn will depart tomorrow for points north and onto home in North Carolina.

Bahamas - Long Island, Touring with Penny & Mike

Next day we hired a car and took Mike and Penny to view the sights on the Southern portion of Long Islands

Arriving at the Old Church Ruins, and the entrance to the Shrimp Hole Cave

Next stop was Clarence Town, the Flying Fish Marina 

To show Mike and Penny all the Grey Nurse Sharks which live around here

Saint Peter and Paul Church in Clarence Town

And onto Gordons Beach Bar for the Best Rum Punches in the Bahamas

The last few weeks have been quiet, Working on Meshugga, shopping, laundry, cleaning. Normal boat stuff. Very serene. Until…… Easter Sunday,...
