Bahamas - Ragged Islands, Buenavista Cay, Lobster hunting and Lighting Up the Shore

A dinghy ride to the cut north of Buenavista at Nurse Cay. Conditions around high water slack tide was quite clear, with quite a lot of coral fans

Duane got 2 nice sized lobster

Nicholas got one….

We have some 12 V batteries aboard Meshugga, which we have replaced with Lithium. The batteries are still in good condition. We also have 4 flexible solar panels which Nicholas removed from our old Flybridge awning, replacing them with Glass panels. So…. Nicholas has installed them all on Buenavista Cay next to Edward’s house, along with the necessary inverters and two nets of lights, which are draped over the bushes.

They come on at night and it’s really nice to see some light ashore at night - it usually is just pitch blackness, unless a bonfire is still burning.
