Bahamas - Ragged Islands, Little Ragged Island, Beach BBQ

On Monday 10th, Sojourn and Meshugga decided to head to the Cut between Ragged and Little Ragged Islands, a trip of about 7 miles. We’d talked about it at Sundowners last night, and was surprised when we upped anchor that another 3 yachts did so as well, Reach, Nauti Nauti and 360 degrees. Later C-Language arrived as well. Seeing there were a few yachts, I jumped on the VHF to let them know that Sojourn and us were having a beach BBQ ashore, and they were all welcome to join. Bring something to BBQ and a dish to share. All the yachts came, including MokaKat and Discovery who were already in the anchorage.

Nicholas had collected a huge haul of firewood from Hog Cay, and he took it to the beach. Duane and Karen dug the BBQ pit out which was full of sand. We went ashore early with Sojourn to prep, taking our chairs and fold up table too.
